| El auge inusitado por las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) y suincorporación acelerada en las diferentes actividades del ser humano generan cada vez másuna gran expectativa entre diferentes especialistas acerca de sus posibilidades reales paracontribuir a mejorar la calidad de vida de la población, como ocurre en el caso de laeducación. Aún cuando las TIC no constituyen un recurso educativo, pareciera existir lacreencia que su sola presencia en aula de clase sería suficiente como para contribuir atransformar cualitativamente el proceso educativo.El sistema computacional “Los números cuentan”, pretende lograr una relaciónentre la educación y lado divertido de las matemáticas; que el usuario final (el alumno desecundaria) tenga una actitud positiva hacia el aprendizaje de las matemáticas. “Losnúmeros cuentan” retoma la tendencia que se sigue a nivel mundial para entregar materialeducativo en forma digital, estos elementos informáticos conocidos como objetos deaprendizaje (OA). En el sistema “Los números cuentan” se desarrollan e implementan OAcon características particulares de los instructores interactivos de diversiones matemáticas(IIDM) de López Morteo y López Mariscal (2007).Los resultados parciales reportados indican que brindan soporte al efecto positivo delas TIC como herramienta de apoyo en el proceso educativo. No obstante de ello, se hapodido apreciar que existen factores externos que pueden ocasionar una contradicción delos resultados. Pareciera que todavía es bastante prematuro poder sacar una conclusióndefinitiva sobre los efectos de las TIC en las diferentes dimensiones del aprendizaje y enlos diferentes niveles y modalidades del sistema educativo. La principal crítica que se lehace a la investigación en este campo consiste en el enfoque atomizado y, en consecuenciaparcial, del objeto de estudio, sin tomar en cuenta su naturaleza compleja, lo cual ameritaaproximaciones metodológicas novedosas y creativas. The unusual height reached about the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)and their accelerated incorporation in the different activities from the human beinggenerates a great expectation between different specialists about their real possibilities tocontribute and improve the quality of population life, as it happens in the case of theeducation. Even though the ICT does not constitute a educational resource, seemed to existthe belief that its single presence in class classroom would be sufficient like contributing totransform the educative process qualitatively.The computer system “Los números cuentan”, tries to obtain a relation between theeducation and funny side of the mathematics; that the end user (the student of junior highschool) has a positive attitude towards the learning of the mathematics. “Los númeroscuentan” retakes the tendency that is followed world-wide level to give educative materialin digital form, this computer elements are known like learning objects (LO). In the system“Los números cuentan” are developed and implemented LO with particular characteristicsof the Interactive Instructors of Mathematical Diversions (IIDM) of López Morteo andLópez Mariscal (2007).The results indicate that they offer support to the positive effect of the ICT tool inthe educative process. Notwithstanding, it has been possible to appreciate that externalfactors exist who can cause a contradiction of the results. It would seem that still is quitepremature to be able to draw to a definitive conclusion on the effects from the ICT in thedifferent dimensions from the learning and in the different levels and modalities from theeducative system. The main critic that is done to the investigation in this field consists ofthe atomized approach and partial of the object of study, without taking into account itscomplex nature, which deserves new and creative methodologic approaches | |
